Call to host QuAMP 2017

A call has been made to institutions for hosting the Quantum, Atomic, Molecular and Plasma Physics Conference (QuAMP) 2017, usually held in autumn every 2 years. The conference last year was at the University of Sussex.

QuAMP is the biennial AMOP meeting of the Institute of Physics: the International Conference on Quantum, Atomic, Molecular and Plasma Physics. It is usually held in September in odd years, and attracts researchers from across the globe.

The meeting covers Quantum technology, Quantum information, Metrology, Ultra-cold matter, Atomic and molecular interactions, Ultra-fast phenomena, Quantum optics and Plasma physics. The format is plenary talks by invited speakers plus contributed talks and posters.

Based on previous conferences, the expected attendance is approximately 150 delegates.

Information about the most recent and other previous QuAMP conferences can be found here.
